01 · Capabilities

Everything between the idea and the order.

AlphaSync brings together the tools a systematic trader usually assembles from separate products, and connects them so a strategy behaves the same in testing and live.

01

Real-time market dashboard

Live NSE and BSE prices for watchlists, indices and F&O chains, with market depth, in one view.

02

Visual strategy builder

Entry and exit rules built from indicators such as RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands and EMA, plus price action and time filters. No code required.

03

Python for custom logic

When rules aren't enough, strategies can be written in Python and run through the same backtest, paper and live pipeline.

04

Backtesting engine

Strategies tested against historical NSE and BSE data, with reports on CAGR, Sharpe ratio, maximum drawdown, win rate and trade-by-trade P&L.

05

Paper trading

Strategies run on live prices in simulation, mirroring broker order flow without placing real orders.

06

Risk management engine

Per-trade stop-loss, daily loss limits, position sizing, margin utilisation caps and an emergency kill switch.

07

Multi-broker execution

Orders routed through official APIs to Zerodha, Alice Blue, IIFL, Zebu and BNR, with multiple accounts managed from one interface.

08

P&L analytics & reporting

Daily, weekly and monthly P&L, strategy comparison and sector exposure, with export to Excel or PDF for records.

09

Alerts & mobile monitoring

Price, trigger and fill alerts by in-app notice, email or Telegram, and an Android app to monitor, pause or resume strategies.

02 · How it works

Four steps, in order, every time.

The workflow is the discipline. A strategy only reaches live capital after it has been tested on history and validated on live prices.

  1. Design

Define entry and exit conditions with the visual rule builder, or write custom logic in Python.

  2. Backtest

Run the strategy on historical NSE and BSE data. Review the report, compare variants and adjust parameters.

  3. Paper trade

Run the validated strategy on live prices in simulation. No orders are placed and no capital is at risk.

  4. Go live

Connect your broker, set capital allocation and risk limits, and activate. AlphaSync handles routing, positions and P&L.

03 · Markets & brokers

Built for Indian markets, connected to your broker.

AlphaSync works with NSE and BSE instruments across cash equity and futures & options, with option chains and greeks for derivatives work.

Execution goes through each broker's official API into the user's own account. One adapter per broker absorbs the differences in order types, sessions and responses, so strategies stay broker-independent.

04 · Architecture

A pipeline with the risk engine in the middle.

Market data, strategy engine, risk engine, execution and analytics. No strategy reaches a broker without passing the risk engine, and every step is recorded.

05 · Risk & regulation

Controls the platform enforces, not ones you have to remember.

Risk limits are set by the user and enforced by AlphaSync between strategy and execution. A kill switch halts all live orders at once.

AlphaSync is designed with applicable SEBI and broker requirements in mind, including audit trails, order-rate limits and user-level permissions.

Important. AlphaSync is trading technology, not investment advice. Vianmax is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst or stock broker. Trading in securities involves risk, and backtested or simulated results do not indicate future returns.

06 · FAQ

Questions we are asked most.

Anything else? Ask the team.

Does a good backtest mean a strategy will make money?

No. No backtest predicts future performance, and anyone who says otherwise is misleading you. A well-built backtest, with realistic costs and out-of-sample testing, reduces the chance of deploying a strategy with basic flaws. That is why AlphaSync puts paper trading on live prices between the backtest and live capital.

Who owns the strategies I build?

You do. AlphaSync is the infrastructure. The strategy logic, parameters and results belong to the user. For firms that commission custom work, strategy IP is handled under a separate agreement with strict confidentiality.

Which brokers does AlphaSync work with?

AlphaSync currently connects to Zerodha, Alice Blue, IIFL, Zebu and BNR through their official APIs. Each broker has its own adapter, so new brokers can be added without changing strategies.

Does AlphaSync hold my money or place trades on my behalf?

No. Orders go to your own broker account through a connection you authorise, and funds stay with your broker. Vianmax is a technology company, not a broker, investment adviser or research analyst.

How does AlphaSync approach SEBI regulation?

AlphaSync is designed with applicable SEBI and broker requirements in mind, including audit trails, order-rate limits, risk checks and user-level permissions. The regulatory framework for algorithmic trading continues to evolve, and requirements differ between individual traders and registered intermediaries. We recommend confirming your specific use case with your broker or a compliance professional.
